SIGBar is a dam management system developed by Geoconsultoria, recognized worldwide as a reference in the sector. Its purpose is to guarantee the stability of dams and the SIGDep of deposits, allowing the early identification of possible deficiencies. This proactive approach makes it possible to implement preventive actions to maintain the safety and integrity of structures.

To control and monitor dams and tailings deposits, we apply guidelines from the International Commission on Large Dams and the Canadian Dam Association (CDA). We adopt processes and procedures that form the Integrated Dam Management System (SIGBar) and an Integrated Deposit Management System (SIGDep). During this process, routine monitoring of structures is carried out and a monthly report is issued that is taken to all hierarchical levels in the company.
But what is SIGBar and SIGDep?
We have the Integrated Dam Management System (SIGBar), made up of 11 modules that establish rules for regular monitoring actions. This system guides document management, monitoring, risk assessment, compliance with standards, staff training, operation of structures, among other aspects. The entire process is monitored by an independent company, which receives data from biweekly inspections and consolidates information from all monitoring monthly to issue stability reports.
